Faculty: Richard Hoffman

Richard Hoffman is the author of the poetry collections Without Paradise: Poems (2002) and Gold Star Road (2007), which was selected by Molly Peacock for the Barrow Street Press Poetry Prize and won the Sheila Motton Award from the New England Poetry Club. Hoffman is also the author of the memoir Half the House (2005), chosen as Book of the Year by the Boston Athenaeum Readers’ Group, and the collection of short fiction Interference & Other Stories (2009). His most recent memoir is Love & Fury. He has been writer-in-residence at Emerson College in Boston and taught at the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast low-residency MFA program.
